Following the creators' update, I accessed the game bar to enable Game Mode. The issue arose because the game bar kept appearing after switching games. Deleting it earlier prevented this problem. Would you consider restoring it just for that purpose?

You're asking about what "deleted" means here. It seems there might be some confusion. If something was removed, it wasn't actually deleted—it just wasn't visible anymore. You could have turned it off instead of deleting it.

It’s worth considering the benefits of game mode despite the performance issues you’ve experienced. You’ve tested it across different PCs, but the results consistently led to slower speeds and noticeable lag. Still, enabling Game Mode doesn’t require the Game Bar to be active for it to function.

It seems your settings are saved, but pressing Windows + G doesn't launch the game. Even after connecting the controller and pressing the Xbox button, it still doesn't work. The game mode settings take you to an error screen.

The game bar and Xbox DVR were activated by the update, reducing FPS and causing stutters. For better performance, minimize background tasks and enable fullscreen mode.

To activate Game Mode in games, use the GameBar by pressing Win+G. Navigate to Settings (gear icon), then Gaming, and select Game Bar. Turn on "Record game clips, screen shots, and broadcast using Game Bar." After setup, the key will work for games—press it, click the Gear icon, and check the box for "Enable Game Mode".
