No, the problem isn't limited to Steam games.

Despite GTA5 being a Rockstar launch title, it could create some confusion. Were there instances where it functioned correctly? If so, what steps have you taken? For testing purposes, verify a simpler game and confirm it works after updating the files in Steam.

Just pulled it and it didn’t help. Appreciate the advice! I should’ve known I had a NVIDIA GPU after switching from AMD, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Still, it did ease some screen tearing problems!

The application appears to launch properly, yet upon reaching the disclaimer page it fails to operate correctly. This issue occurs with both Valorant and DayZ, which were purchased from Steam.

Remove Steam and restore it. This will preserve your saved game files without needing a full re-download. The presence of only Steam suggests the launcher is the problem.

You need to remove GeForce Experience and configure your GPU and game settings correctly. DDU: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driv...taller-ddu – download the NVIDIA driver. Then follow this link: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/tec...leanstall/ and mark the boxes for GeForce driver and PhysX, then install it from there. GFE is problematic as it may clash with games and other software settings, constantly logging telemetry data. Additionally, Windows Telemetry and updates behave similarly. Steam and Rockstar work but feel sluggish since your CPU might be overworked. If temperatures rise, it could throttle or crash the app. Log jam.
