Extremely frustrating. With a slow internet connection like mine, downloading becomes a real hassle right from the start, and even starting over is a hassle. I’m sure someone will eventually offer helpful tips...hopefully it works out, though, my friend.
Have you attempted to reboot your computer? This issue has occurred before and is often resolved after a restart.
It seems there might be an issue with the launch or display, possibly a logo problem. You mentioned having the Steam version and asking about any modifications.
I haven't played this game before. It starts by displaying a logo in the taskbar, then it closes on its own and restarts the Epic Games Store.
