Hey there, friends. I tried a few fixes but it crashed after just a minute in the main menu. Any advice would be great. I've already tried reinstalling, updated drivers, and using the latest version of GeForce 531.68. My system specs are: CPU I5 13600K, GPU ASUS TUF RTX 4070TI, mainboard ASUS STRIX Z690-A, RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB, SSD Corsair MP600 PRO XT, case Corsair H150i ELITE, and PSU Corsair RM850 2021.
You can locate the CD key by checking your system settings or using the appropriate application for your device. Just be sure to verify it doesn’t cause crashes in the main menu.
Previously I clicked right on the game and chose manage, then followed the cd-keys instructions. Now that option doesn’t appear, possibly due to security changes. I discovered this on the Steam forum and learned that I could transfer old Mass Effect or Battlefield titles to the EA app. The next step would be reaching out to Steam or EA directly. I regret sharing this earlier, as I wasn’t aware the feature was removed. The core idea is: if a game has a visible key, right-clicking it should reveal management choices. If not, the key isn’t accessible and you’re likely out of options. It seems some companies faced problems, but Steam is now removing the feature as a fix. Since they’re the main digital platform, it’s unclear who will address this. We’re all missing out on these features. That’s what I realized after exploring for a while. Sorry, buddy.
