I wanted to play some Gmod, so I opened it through the Steam PC app. Then I encountered an error. I thought, "I’ve dealt with this before; just check the local storage, that should be fine." I did that and received a message saying a file was missing, which would be downloaded. I tried launching Gmod again, and it says it’s updating. Once it reaches 100%, it suddenly stops and says “Update paused.” I’m not sure what to do. Do any of you have faced this issue? Any advice would be appreciated. I’m using Windows 7, Gmod, and Steam is all up to date. My PC has been restarted already.
