You can enjoy WvW at lower settings. Certain roles adapt more easily than others at low tiers. The "battlegrounds" are manageable at level 1. Head to a zone and reach your maximum possible stats with the best equipment available. You decide which attributes to prioritize. Nice visual PvP skins often represent progression or rewards. Honestly? WoW could do better. It should be fairer if gear didn’t dictate success in PvP. Fixing rampant botting would also be a big plus.

This really catches my attention... I dislike competitive play tied to gear reliance, it gets frustrating! Guild wars seems like a more appealing option so far.
