It seems the graphics have become less impressive since returning from Battlefield 3. Despite setting the game to ultra and playing at 1080p, the visuals feel blurry and poor quality. The new maps don’t match the polished look of Battlefield 3 either.
I've been enjoying both games a lot and I'm confused about what you're referring to. BF4 seems to outperform BF3 in most aspects. The only part I appreciated more about BF3 was the maps – I really disliked the blue tint, so it's great that it's gone.

They implemented a more effective system in BF4. I’d still choose BF4 instead of BF3. Both titles are excellent.
BF4 appears improved, yet it's frustrating that you can't take down targets from over 40 yards without a sniper rifle. I'm not great at BF4 compared to BF3, but I can follow my shots. When someone in front of them isn't affected, it's weird—though walls on buildings do take damage.
Since playing BF4, I was struck by how realistic the water was—2014, a big AAA game, yet it felt... off. I’m frustrated but also amazed; at times it feels like I’m swimming in mercury instead of water.
