I discovered a suggestion online about adjusting the in-game settings to turn off pre-rendered frames. It seems to have resolved the stuttering problem. Now I can play smoothly at 1080p with low to medium settings. It may not look perfect, but I’m meeting most performance requirements without any complaints.
