The game frequently crashes without an error message.
Recently, my PC has been crashing during gameplay in nearly all games, which is frustrating. I have thoroughly tested each component and verified that nothing appears defective. I have also attempted reinstalling the drivers.
I hope someone can provide a solution to this problem; I do not want to purchase a new computer at this time.
My specifications are:
ASUS ROG Strix 2080ti OC-edition
Intel i9 9900k
32gb ddr4 hyperx 2666mhz
Corsair 750w psu
Please list all antivirus software currently installed. Confirm that your BIOS and operating system are updated. Do not pursue replacement of this computer; issues will persist due to inherent limitations in low-functionality systems.
Unstable overclocks, whether manual or factory, frequently cause crashes without error messages. It’s likely the CPU or GPU cannot sustain the boost clock. Try disabling these if you haven't already. Also disable RAM XMP profiles. Clearing the CMOS on your motherboard is an option as well.
Reduced clock speeds for both GPU and CPU, achieving approximately three minutes of gameplay before crashes occurred. XMP profiles have not been enabled. Clearing CMOS on the motherboard will be attempted. Additional suggestions are welcome; assistance is appreciated.
I can play low-end games that don't require much processing power. I consistently achieve 150 frames per second or more in every game, and these perform optimally. All other games crash immediately or within a few minutes of starting.
