Silly kid, you don’t do missions just for cash… You pull off heists to make a profit. Prices keep rising as tough players keep grinding through them, bringing in huge sums. Cybercriminals are wrecking the economy.

In GTA V's missions, the objectives aim to reflect real-life situations, though you can't expect payment for everyday tasks like running errands. There are special types such as Heist and Assassination Missions, which involve stock market trading; completing them properly can yield significant rewards, potentially reaching billions per character.

The community talking about farm heists seems either stuck in a loop or chasing some magical connection point. Even when I managed to gather three friends for heist sessions, the online environment turned things into a mess, with constant issues popping up during the missions. It became really frustrating. Now I barely bother searching for random matches to join. GTA V offered a promising start, but it’s still widely played and bought long after launch. Recently I’ve tried logging in occasionally, but the experience is terrible. Story and gameplay are perfect, but online performance is a disaster—-3 out of 10. The biggest pain is the money system; it feels unfair and expensive. Even basic ammo costs a lot (I need decent stickers!). I switched my character from 360 to PC, but I never cheated and actually earned a lot on 360 when missions paid. Then R* had to sort out the mess and take away funds from those suspected of cheating. I ended up with just $500K and had to sell my nice cars to cover my expenses. TL;DR: GTA V online is a real pain, and the money system is one of the main issues.

Absolutely, I agree. The online experience on PS3 is even worse—constant frame drops, unexpected disconnects, and rendering issues. The heists aren’t worth the hassle, especially for anyone other than the host. A default payout of 100k+ seems reasonable for most heists, except for Fleeca. Given how low the payouts are relative to the trouble involved, Pacific Standard Bank should hold at least 3 million. It would be fair for everyone, and it makes sense considering the high risk of failure. I also notice some items in GTA Online are overpriced. Don’t rely on random numbers—most of them are disappointing. And remember, transferring Xbox 360 saves to PC isn’t straightforward; it’s not possible with the PS3.

Heists usually fail unless you’re with three or more friends and work together through voice chat.

Pricey, especially with every release bringing new models. "You just paid $2.5 million for that upgraded vehicle? We just dropped something even better!" - R*. Then you attempt to sell it and only get a small portion back (plausible but still funny). And yes, you can move GTA Online characters from any console to PC (though single-player saves aren't supported). The main drawback is it's one-way, and you can't send PC back to consoles (not sure if the rules changed after launch).
