It seems the problem might be limited to the PC version. Perhaps the draw distance is the main concern now. Dying Light also faces this challenge.

The PC seems to perform significantly better than the consoles in this game. TB was playing it and appeared to really enjoy it. It's possible he might still want a new one, but those updates haven't been released yet.
