The game experiences significant slowdowns during extended play sessions.
Hello, your game experiences frequent lagging during extended play sessions. The Ethernet connection details are provided: SS: https://gyazo.com/3d022ba4613541559392b924fce254ed and specs: https://gyazo.com/7bf4feb19b18e8cbdea35c510c4c766d.
Which game is being played? What kind of internet connection and speeds are you paying for? What is the router’s make and model, and what other networking gear are connected to it? How much heat do these devices generate when used heavily? Are there any other network activities happening at the same time while you’re gaming, such as downloads or streaming? Is anyone else using the network at the same time?
1. FiveM for GTA roleplay is supported
2. Internet connection speed is approximately 65Mbps
3. Router brand is KPN
4. Devices are positioned around 60 degrees
5. No issues reported
Where are these servers hosted? (My understanding is that these are not official Rockstar servers.) Can you run a ping/traceroute to the server IP and post the response times you get? Are there many other gamers connected on the same server? Do you know if they experience the same behaviour? You’re going to need to give us more information than that since it’s not a common brand. Look on the box itself to find what is printed on the sticker. Is that the router/gateway getting this hot? If you can put your hand on it and tolerate the warmth for about 10s without feeling pain, then that’s probably OK. I assume that’s 60 degrees C which is around 140 degrees F. If you turn off the router for about half hour or so to let it cool down, turn it back on and start playing games, how long do you take to notice a performance hit and does it correspond with a higher temperature on the router itself? In the meantime, install the latest Intel driver for the I211 after uninstalling the old ones.
