Modern Warfare. It doesn’t happen in any other titles. The game runs smoothly at about 70 frames per second, yet it stutters or jitters even during menu transitions. I’ve listed my hardware details but don’t believe any component is limiting performance. My GPU stays around 70°C under full load while the CPU operates between 20-27%. The RAM might be the culprit—I own two 4GB DDR4 sticks totaling 8GB, and the game consumes roughly 6.8–7.2 GB during play. I’ve reduced graphics settings and other options to lower RAM usage, but stutters persist at 70 FPS. Any suggestions on resolving this? My system specs: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, GPU – Amd Radeon RX 570, RAM – 2x Geil Evo Spear 4GB DDR4 2400 MHz, Motherboard – Gigabyte B450, PSU – Antec NeoEco 550W, case – AORUS Pro.

Fps doesn't affect the game's smoothness, that's Frametimes we need to focus on. What's the GPU activity? With just 8GB RAM and the game using 7GB, you're running low. How much data does COD.exe consume while playing? Which display is being used (refresh rate)? Are V-Sync and Freesync enabled or not?

@Symbiode Darkseth mentioned you seem limited by insufficient RAM. Adding another 8GB should help and you might want to disable free sync if your monitor supports it. If not, enable 'enhanced sync' via the Radeon software—it functions similarly to free sync and prevents stuttering or screen tearing caused by mismatched frame rates. I apply it across all games and it works fine. Just avoid enabling v-sync in the game settings.
