I recently purchased a new computer and everything functioned correctly until approximately two weeks ago. While playing the game *Assassin's Creed Odyssey*, the game unexpectedly froze. I attempted to restart it, but the issue persisted after twenty minutes. The screen remained frozen while audio continued to play. I experienced this problem for about a week afterward and encountered similar freezes during gameplay in *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019*. These freezes have become a consistent occurrence with all my more recent games. I’ve undertaken numerous troubleshooting steps, including updating drivers and monitoring temperatures (which peaked at sixty degrees Celsius), reinstalling the games, running them as administrators, and reducing graphical settings. Despite these efforts, the cause of the problem remains unknown. My computer specifications include an AMD Ryzen 7 2700x processor, an ASRock B450 Steel Legend motherboard, an 8GB MSI RTX 2070 Ventus Gp graphics card, 16GB of G.Skill RipJaws DDR4 3200MHz memory, a be quiet Dark Rock 4 cooler, and a 50W be quiet PurePower11 power supply; my case is the Sharkoon TG6 RGB. I have also attempted updating all drivers and Windows, verifying temperatures, and reinstalling games while utilizing lowest graphic settings. I lack a comprehensive understanding of computer systems or technical terminology, so clear explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Considering your current power needs, a 50 watt unit would likely be insufficient. It’s advisable to upgrade to a higher capacity to ensure optimal performance.

My power supply unit appears adequate for the system's power draw (423 watts). However, the issue persists, and I’m uncertain of further troubleshooting steps. Do you have any recommendations?
