I configured everything in OBS, began recording, and started Minecraft in fullscreen, but the crash happens right after I hit fullscreen.

Hey, are your PC running smoothly? I’d love some tips—maybe set a quick shortcut and start recording once Minecraft is in full screen. Also, I’m not sure if your setup is great, but let’s fix that!

Consider using a windowed view instead of fullscreen. It makes it simpler to see everything and is more comfortable to play.

Could you post the minecraft crash log (if there is one)? It would help us a lot if you could It's probably located in %appdata%/.minecraft/crash-reports

mc in fullscreen works much better, which is why many people prefer playing it in that mode.

I don't think it's better. I actually prefer it worse. While it might offer a higher frame rate, I've always played it in a 1600x900 window on a 1080p screen. It helps me see everything more clearly. It could also be because I use a 90-degree field of view, unlike most people who use a 60-degree view.

I generally rely on around 90 FOV, but full screen remains much preferable.
