I just purchased Fallout New Vegas Ultimate on Steam, and upon launching the game, there were no loading bars, but during gameplay it appears stretched. Could you confirm whether this stretching occurs? Thanks, BucketBoiAce
WSGF recommends adjusting Fallout: NV to 21:9 via an .ini file change. The images provided indicate the experience widens rather than shrinks, giving a broader peripheral view. The game appears to employ an anamorphic style for cutscenes, eliminating black bars and instead trimming only the top and bottom sections (not at native size). You can see a preview of this effect here: https://www.wsgf.org/dr/fallout-new-vegas/en
A few additional suggestions... FONV (and indeed all Bethesda titles from this period) often struggle on modern multi-core processors and tend to be unstable. I highly recommend exploring NVSE installation, a mod manager setup, and obtaining the latest unofficial patch for your version along with a top-rated crash fix mod from Nexus Mods. You might also find a mod supporting 21:9 playback that maintains full resolution without distortion.
