My hardware configuration is near the suggested specifications:
Intel Core i7-2600k @ 3.4GHz
Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM
16 GB of RAM
Within buildings, I experience frame rates between 70 and 120, while outdoors they fluctuate from 45 to 90 – which I consider unacceptable. Adjusting graphics settings doesn’t significantly alter the frame rate; it remains largely consistent. I'm questioning whether the issue lies with the game itself or if there’s a problem with my computer system.
Regarding your laptop:
What type of connection are you employing: Ethernet or Wi-Fi?
Or do you frequently alternate between the two when moving between inside and outside locations? (For example, wired within and wireless without?)
How distant is the “outside” area? Are you utilizing any network access points?
Make certain that only one network adapter – either wired or wireless – is activated at any single moment. Do not enable both simultaneously.
Utilize Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Performance Monitor (one at a time) to observe system performance while playing Dishonored 2. Repeat this process indoors and outdoors, with wired or wireless connections, as you typically do.
You should be able to identify the resource consumption of each environment in terms of percentage usage.
