The only method to remove the shortcut in your library is by choosing "Delete Local Game Files." Be sure to understand what you're referring to before you post. OP, are there any other games you'd like to play? Especially those built with the Source engine?

You're right to notice that. It sounds like you had a lot of games that weren't linked properly, which made it tricky to get them back. That experience is pretty common!

Imagine a vision, or perhaps you made a mistake earlier. Click the right button on any title in your STEAM collection; there’s no way to remove it except by deleting local files. The following action is to reinstall your drivers.

I removed the local files via Steam and tried reinstalling the non-beta drivers—maybe that will resolve the issue.

You're right to notice that! It seems I was being very playful. I'm sorry if it felt like I took it too far—no need to reinstall those games!

It’s likely your resolution options were modified unexpectedly. You can look up instructions online to adjust them without starting the game, then revert to the original settings. This often happens to me.
