The full panel continues to reset.
I have a DellSE2417HG monitor and an AMD Radeon RX570. My ideal resolution is 1152 x 864 full panel. Everything worked until I attempted to switch the cable linking my monitor to my PC. With either the new or old cable, the full panel fails to stay on when I launch Diablo 4 at that moment. Chrome maintains the full panel, but everything resets to normal once I open the game or watch a YouTube video. I've tried removing and reinstalling all software, but nothing resolves the issue. I enabled GPU scaling and adjusted it to full panel—should that be sufficient? I just don’t understand why it keeps reverting.
You're asking about the meaning of "not full panel," its function, and why your preferred resolution is 1152x864. It also mentions the monitor size and suggests that using a different resolution could worsen the problem.
With the 1920x1080 it fills the entire screen but appears tall and narrow. The 1152x864 looks much improved when it's in full panel. When not in full panel, it centers with empty space around it. I had everything configured properly and it worked as intended, but now it's no longer the same.
