Going through the clip, I'm missing any noticeable large frame drops, though it's tricky to confirm if the FPS falls under 60 because YouTube caps at 60fps. Where should I focus my attention? Given the recent Fortnite update, it might have resolved DX12 compatibility issues, but DX11 has generally been more reliable in the past.

It seems most activity starts early, with minimal GPU load and maximum CPU utilization. This pattern might indicate a performance issue.

FPS decreases at the start of a Fortnite session is completely normal. All systems are loading, so the computer is working its maximum capacity for the duration. It might be due to CPU constraints, but usually this is intentional in competitive play—aiming for GPU limits rather than CPU limits. Utilization should stay below 60%, typically hovering between 40-50%, indicating your CPU has enough power for that frame rate. A single thread could be capped at 100%, which isn’t unusual. You’ll always face some restrictions, especially with a single-core CPU. If you wish to maximize GPU usage, adjust settings accordingly, though this is often discouraged in competitive shooters. To boost performance from both components, consider removing the FPS cap, but be aware it may increase stuttering.
