Absolutely agree! You should never have just one channel. If I could choose between 16 gigabytes on a single stick versus 8 gigabytes across two 4-gigabit sticks (dual channel), I’d definitely pick the dual setup. It really makes a big difference.

Hey there, I purchased the RAM recently and placed it in, but it hasn't improved much. I'm still seeing swings between 150 to 10,000 to 60. Could this be related to a storage problem since I'm not entirely confident?

it hasn't changed much, i'm still losing frames in no way to resolve it. possible causes could be storage problems or cpu issues.
