my asus rog gl503 laptop has an i7 8th gen with 8gb ram and a 1050ti processor. my friend's similar setups are achieving over 150 fps, but mine is only at 60 fps despite setting everything low. i reinstalled the game to ssd, updated all drivers, and ran launch options, config, windows full screen optimization, but the thermal output is still very high. my 120 hz display doesn't seem to help much.
ram is 8*1 but i plan to upgrade it to 16 gb soon. the cpu is at 90 and the gpu around 75, but i'm confident it won't be a problem since it shows 90 fps at low temps, and that's the highest temperature recorded.
