Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. The Fortnite game has stopped functioning. It worked before, but now it only shows a black screen with sound but no visuals. There’s a skip at the bottom right that doesn’t lead anywhere. I suspect a GPU problem. I’ve tried many fixes—changed settings, deleted the config file, updated drivers, reinstalled the game, and even used different launch methods—but nothing resolved it. Other games like Subnautica, Rouge, Hogwarts Legacy, and Sims4 work fine. My PC has an RTX 3060 Ti with AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, 16GB RAM, and Windows 10 22H2. I also ran a GPU benchmark successfully. Fortnite stopped only on my PC, not on another machine. The Task Manager shows very low GPU usage (1%) and memory consumption. Please let me know what you see in the Task Manager or if further troubleshooting is needed.

If you just shift the game files, it won't function properly. You can relocate the files, but other components will still point to the wrong locations—for instance, in documents the Fortnite folder will direct to its original installation spot. Moving the files to a different drive won't help because the system thinks they exist there, leading to errors since you've replaced them. You'll need to reinstall everything correctly.

Hey friend, I tried reinstalling again and it still didn’t work perfectly. I thought about changing the file on my laptop to match what I had on my PC. It helped a bit, though slowly. I’ve attached both versions for you to compare. Something in those settings must be making the difference. Thanks!

You mentioned you shifted the game from C to D, so please double-check the files again. It might be similar to Rocket League—navigate to your games folder in Documents, change the game name to Rocket League Old, and then rename it to Fortnite Old before launching. Let me know if that helps!
