I’m preparing to purchase a Ryzen 5900x and possibly an Asus TUF X570-PRO at the same time. This will replace my outdated Intel Skylake setup. From what I know, the TUF board doesn’t support a BIOS flashback feature, and I don’t currently own a Ryzen CPU that could help update the BIOS. It seems all B550/x570 boards need an AGESA 1.0.8.0 update to run Ryzen 5000 models. I think MSI mentioned that any boards made after August will come with this update, but I want to confirm the exact manufacturing date for Asus to ensure timing. I’d like to avoid being caught without a system when buying these parts. I contacted Asus Chat Support, who either didn’t understand or suggested checking the official Asus Store Support site (the chat links are outdated).
