The file size is substantial.

I saved roughly 25GB, and I remember the installer saying the process was complete. Once I put my computer into sleep mode and then turned it back on, it began a 20GB download. The file size in question is from the Star Citizen folder.

It should let you continue from where you left off. Unless something went wrong—like with certain smaller updates—I’m not entirely confident about this behavior.

Sure thing! A 1TB SSD is definitely on my list—it's not as large as I initially imagined. The total installed was just 26GB, and the posts I saw suggested it could be up to 20GB bigger.
