I'm using Windows 8.1 64-bit with 8GB RAM, GTX 980 graphics card and a Z97-G45 gaming motherboard. I downloaded the On-Board VGA drivers but when installing they reported that my system didn't meet the minimum requirements. I tried opening the downloads folder and selecting the appropriate version, but after downloading the GTX 980 driver, the installation prompts asked if I had additional drivers to install. I already have the SATA AHCI/RAID, audio, LAN, and management engine drivers installed. Could you help identify what's missing or suggest the next steps?

I faced the same issue with my ASUS MOBO... probably the built-in graphics driver. It won't install unless the onboard GPU is turned on (it's all guesswork right now).

Absolutely, you're right. The driver shouldn't be a concern for you.

Yes, ASUS offers its own utility app through the ASUS App Center, which provides similar functionality for managing tools, drivers, and BIOS updates.

That's not a motherboard driver; it's the one for the built-in graphics card, which is turned off automatically when you use and set up the GTX 980. You won't need this driver.
