Recently, I occasionally attempt to launch an explorer window from the task bar, but it doesn't appear. Specifically, a few such windows stay open in the background. I highlight the taskbar, drag across the tab with the mouse, then move to the miniature. The file explorer window appears normally, but when I click the miniature, it disappears and reappears after a few attempts. This issue seems familiar? (I've tried sfc/scannow and DISM.exe without success.) Edited March 23, 2025 by leclod

I faced a comparable problem (Windows 10) and didn’t find a reliable solution. But when adjusting the animation settings for Windows, the issue resolved.
