I've been working with the official WinRar version 5.0 for a long time to create .rar files and extract .rar/.zip archives. There were no issues before. Recently, I gathered 30 subtitle .srt files in Windows Explorer, right-clicked, and chose to make a .rar archive. Usually, a pop-up appears when WinRar starts compressing the files, then disappears once done. For these 30 files, the process should have taken only a brief moment because compression is quick. However, when I clicked create, the application froze at around 80% and displayed a spinning blue circle indicating it was unresponsive. It seemed like WinRar had stalled, requiring an end task to resolve. I suspect this might be a recurring problem—either a bug in WinRar or interference from Windows during the file creation process.

The program may occasionally stop working, but that's normal. Don't be concerned.
