yesterday i powered off my pc and went to sleep, then woke up in the morning finding all fans spinning even though the machine was off. i turned it back on and noticed every fan—including the gpu and cpu—was spinning at full speed. after shutting it down again, i flipped the psu power switch and it stopped working. when i turned it off once more to test, the issue returned. could you help me figure out if my psu is faulty or if there’s another cause? right now the pc seems to be functioning normally, but i want to confirm everything is okay. p.s. all case fans are connected directly to the psu. edited may 21, 2022 by Patrix.PX

It seems your power supply unit isn't shutting down properly. This might be due to the PSU or a mainboard issue.

Your PSU is working properly. It doesn't manage fan control; the motherboard handles fans except for the GPU, which manages its own. Which motherboard is this? Is there a BIOS setting for deep sleep?

I checked the bios and there isn't that choice available.

Navigate to Advanced settings, then select Chipset Configuration. This location appears correctly on my ASRock board.
