Hi, I’m dealing with an Asus Studiobook One that’s overheating—CPU and GPU reaching 95°C and shutting down after a short time. I noticed the fans stop spinning right away when I press power first, and never again. My old laptop had similar fan problems, which resolved after replacing the fans. This one is different because I can’t open it. It seems there’s a special key needed, or maybe another method isn’t listed online. Since it’s a review unit, Asus likely voided the warranty right away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello, if your fans don't spin even with high temperature, possible reasons include: 1. The power connector isn't properly connected in the slot pins. 2. The pin slot that controls fan spin is interrupted—consider seeking service as repairs are affordable. 3. Outdated BIOS update. 4. Outdated or corrupted drivers. 5. Issues with the fan control software. Note: > Clean your air vents and fans to prevent thermal throttling, which can shorten component lifespan. > Verify fan settings if they were reset or disabled. > Run a troubleshooter for driver errors. > Ensure the device has a dedicated control fan software. Hope this helps! Cheers!
