As the title indicates, this program sometimes fails to reset the system to BIOS fan curve settings when closing. This leads to fans spinning much faster than intended in any preset range, especially during manual shutdowns or restarts based on temperature readings. Have you encountered this issue before or discovered a solution? It’s a small inconvenience, but it doesn’t stop me from using Fan Control at all. Quality is my priority.

From what I recall, these fan controllers reset the active fan curve in Bois and only restore the original Bios curve when the system restarts.

It doesn’t appear Fan Control is handling it as intended—usually once you exit, the device returns to the default BIOS mode without requiring a restart.

Yes, there are Asus software options available that manage fan settings.

Just halted the game and saw minimal updates, just a few minor adjustments. It seems my BIOS settings are nearly matching yours at low temperatures. Confirm your BIOS curves? Are your fans properly configured for DC or PWM? Edited October 10, 2024 by leclod

It might have been the updated armory crate, so I replaced it and made sure the fan controls were disabled. Since then, the fan issue is resolved (good luck!). Later update confirmed the fix worked.
