My external drive was functioning properly until recently, when it suddenly disappeared from Windows 11. I've tried various solutions and watched numerous YouTube tutorials, but none seem to work for my drive. In Disk Management, it appears as two separate partitions and is marked grayed out, making it difficult even to reformat it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Which external HDD model were you using? Was there anything unusual during your previous successful use? Did you perform a safe removal/eject procedure or simply unplugged it without additional steps? And could you share a screenshot of the Windows Disk Management?

1) Is it compatible with other systems?
2) Kindly share a screenshot of the disk management interface.
