I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600 and Palit RTX 3070 GamingPro. When I watch videos or browse, the GPU runs at around 29-30 degrees and CPU at 40-42 degrees. At 40 degrees the CPU cools down, but when it hits 42-43 degrees again, the fans stop spinning and start spinning. This seems to affect fan life cycles or the pump. It might not be ideal for long-term use. I'm considering adjusting the fan control settings, similar to what Jayz2cent suggests, aiming for around 40% speed at CPU temps near 40 degrees.

Adjusted your fan curves incorrectly. The fans were set to 0 between 40-42 to prevent spinning, but you can modify this in BIOS.

You're observing that the lowest fan speed isn't at 30% and 30°C, which seems unusual. It looks like the BIOS automatically adjusted the curve settings without you noticing. This behavior might not be harmful in the short term, but it's worth noting whether it affects performance over time. If you're concerned about long-term impacts, monitoring it could be helpful.

The fan operating at zero RPM is perfectly fine.

they don’t mention a zero RPM setting, but the highest temperatures are within acceptable limits. It should work fine.
