As far as I understand, it has a 6-pin slot. But can I use a 4-pin and a 2-pin adapter instead? If not, where can I purchase a 4 to 6 pin adapter?

the latest power supply models include a 6+2 peg connector. if your power supply lacks this, you can connect two 4-pin molex to an 8-pin peg adapter, then link the 8-pin peg adapter to the 6+2 pin peg adapter
