I'm a competitive Fortnite player from the Middle East. Recently, I was experiencing ping over 100 before matches started, but the match creation server showed only 34ms. I searched YouTube and watched a video by Jerian who suggested some fixes. I followed his advice, including installing the TCP optimizer software. However, after making those changes, my ping stayed the same, but I started facing heavy packet loss, making the game nearly unplayable. I tried a network reset, but then my internet stopped working and the Ethernet display showed no valid IP configuration. I've tried several YouTube solutions, but none worked. I'm reaching out for help now. Please assist me if you have any information—I need it urgently.
Have you checked the reset feature in the Speedguide.net TCP optimizer software? This should help fix your problems.
Technically it should. When you notice line 2 in the note, the program generates a backup of all configuration changes and resets, allowing you to restore it to its original condition.
Running ipconfig reveals your active IP, default gateway and subnet mask. You can test connectivity by pinging the default gateway.
