I relocated my PC back home after graduation and noticed the Ethernet port stopped functioning unexpectedly. I had replaced the graphics card before moving but otherwise kept the system untouched. I tested various Ethernet cables and confirmed they worked with my laptop. The green and orange indicators ceased to appear when I connected an Ethernet cable. When I connected my laptop directly to my PC, the LEDs displayed red and orange, with the orange one blinking. I’m using a powerline Ethernet setup, so I tried routing it through a switch before connecting to the PC, but the same problem persisted. The motherboard has been in good condition for over five years without issues. I have the correct drivers installed and this exact configuration was used last summer, so I’m unsure what might be causing the issue.
