Browser, version and operating system: Windows 10
Steps to recreate/check previous actions:
Woke PC from sleep. What occurred? PC woke up from sleep, messaging apps like Discord and Telegram refreshed to latest messages, then internet disappeared completely. What was anticipated? To lose internet connection. Additional details: Troubleshooter reported "Ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration," appearing as an unidentified network. PC performance has slowed noticeably, taking much longer than before. After reboot, META Quest asked to enable both private and public networking in the firewall. Attempted searches for the issue and tried fixes from top results, but none resolved the problem. This morning the PC was working fine except for moving some games from the main boot drive to another drive due to space issues—could this be a contributing factor, though I’m unsure of the connection.

The PC is experiencing significant slowness now, with the task manager loading slowly and no obvious reasons for the performance drop. CPU activity remains low, while RAM usage stands at 6GB out of a total 48GB.

It's possible your Windows updated the network card drivers automatically, but the new version might not work well or could have issues. This isn't uncommon. You might want to visit your motherboard manufacturer's site, enter your model, and download the previous driver versions for installation.

You're facing a situation where your PC isn't connecting to the internet, and you're the sole device in the house. It might help to check your router settings, ensure the cable is properly connected, and verify if other devices are online. If nothing works, consider restarting your modem or contacting your internet service provider for further assistance.

Just a quick note, I haven’t installed any META stuff like the Oculus app. My PC is working now, but I’m still facing internet problems.

Resolved the problem by unplugging the router for a minimum of five minutes and then reconnecting it.
