Did you really secure the connector using the right tool? Simply pushing wires into the connector won’t work. If it’s already crimped, give it another try. This problem has happened before when I didn’t apply enough pressure. With a proper crimping device, you can insert your RJ45 after securing it, as if it were an Ethernet port on a device, which aids in confirming compatibility.
