I took out the print head to clean it, but no matter how many times I ran the printer maintenance... The test page was coming out faulty. When I came back to install it, I saw there was no power. I thought I might have forgotten to unplug it, especially since it wasn’t getting power. So the question is... Did I short it? Is there anything I can try to fix it?

If your printer disassembly was carried out correctly and you reassembled the laptop in reverse while keeping all connectors and ribbon cables intact, the printer should function properly. Did you follow this tutorial?

Well, if you left it powered up when you removed the print head there's a good chance that you shorted something which, if there are any embedded fuses could well have caused one or more to blow.
