The rounded pins on the EPS connectors differ from the square pins on the headers. This seems normal and not an issue. The photo shows the CPU label at the cable end, which confirms the labeling.

They are built to fit into 4-pin connectors when available, which have rounded openings. Round connectors wouldn't work in the curved slots.
