It looks like there aren't any recent high-end products from AMD, Intel, or ViA... (Nvidia's future might surprise you with its ARM capabilities...)
Noticing AMD produces more Ryzen chips, I wonder why no motherboards have integrated RAM and Wi-Fi like a single chip. Perhaps only a PCI-E port for another device, or it should simply work out of the box once installed in a case... x-x
What do you mean by needing more CPUs when there aren’t enough boards to support them? That’s not accurate. The Asrock Deskmini A300 is a simple, stripped-down model, and they’ve reached that limit. If RAM and other components are already built-in, those users won’t be bothered about switching to a laptop.
They need more market share without boards? Also, a board that connects directly and pays can still be great, an APU with built-in RAM won’t have to deal with poorly specified RAM causing issues.
Standard components usually include RAM that isn't fully specified, often around 2133 CL15 failure or a single-channel issue.
