The .700 Nitro (double barrel shotgun) is included in the Limited Edition. It appears as a pre-order bonus and can be obtained with the season pass. I believe it should be available in the game, though I haven’t played through the full content yet. If you’re curious, let me know how to get it!
The .700 Nitro is earned by finishing the City of Pain quest. It might cost 75,750 or Longinus provides it without charge to free Bell Towers.
That's not the Elephant Gun, actually. The .700 Nitro is the standard model, while the Elephant Gun is the special edition available through pre-ordering or the Season Pass. I placed a pre-order a few months before the game launched, didn’t purchase the Season Pass, and I’m having trouble getting the Elephant Gun.
It shouldn't really matter either way. The .700 is overly strong in the game, regardless of the situation.
Yeah, I guess.. But the Nitro doesn't have that old-school look with gold plating like the Elephant gun. However I think I've figured it out, as I live in Denmark, I didn't pre-order it from Walmart, Gamestop, Amazon or some fourth place (depending where you pre-order you get 4 different weapons, Driller, Sandman, Elephant Gun and the butcher's knife (Far Cry 3 knife)
