Several studies highlight forum discussions about using the enclosure with a splitter, though I wouldn't recommend it myself—yet it appears to work well for others. https://egpu.io/forums/which-gear-should...ng-x-trio/ If I had to choose, I'd probably opt for a fresh power supply.

The power supply in this case is very poor. It has several 12v rails but lacks multiple OCP, uses goup regulation and has bad voltage control. Avoid using it with a powerful GPU. For an RTX 3080, you should get a new good PSU with DC-DC on the smaller rails.
