I have a dual setup with a Sony TV and an old Samsung LCD display from about ten years ago. The monitor was working until last week, when exams began and it was turned off despite power being connected. Now it keeps flickering on its own and won’t power up or turn off. Can you assist in resolving this issue?

The monitor's make and model are not specified. If it's ten years old, it might be nearing the end of its lifespan and could be due for replacement.
