I have an RTX 3070, 32 GB RAM and a 12th Gen i5 12400F. My performance is 70-100 FPS in Dying Light 2 but it appears as 35-40. I'm running at high settings without ray tracing or VSync at 1080p. This is the only game I've had this issue with. Can someone help me fix it?
I suggest trying these actions:
Ensure the installation files are intact
Execute the application with administrator privileges
Remove and reinstall the software
Check for updated graphic drivers
Verify the monitor refresh rate
If none of these work, you might want to use another monitor to see if the issue persists

I began using the Alex Battaglia Optimized Settings guide from Digital Foundry and found it quite helpful. With my 8700K and GTX 1080, I’m not achieving the high FPS you mentioned, but I’m not facing the issues you described.
Thank you for the update. The game was generally stable, but I noticed a shift in performance before. Previously, at around 70-100 FPS, the 99% was near 40-50. This shouldn't occur with a 3070. It seems to have improved slightly, now reaching 70-80 FPS at 99%. Still below the main counter's rate. I'm unsure what's causing it and will consider your advice. Thanks again!
