I recently purchased a DualSense controller to enjoy PC games with greater comfort than using a mouse and keyboard. It functioned smoothly several times before today. Now, when I connect the controller, it fails to power on and the PC doesn’t recognize it. However, I can still turn it on wirelessly, but my PC lacks Bluetooth support. I attempted to pair it with my phone, which worked perfectly. I’m puzzled as no one else seems to have the same issue after extensive research. A warning appears when I connect the controller while the PC is running: “I don’t know if this helps,” followed by a message about file sharing not working when using the same cable. After plugging in my phone with the same USB port, file sharing functions normally, but once the controller is connected back to the phone, it no longer recognizes the PC as a file transfer device. If you have any insights or a solution that doesn’t require a Bluetooth adapter, I’d appreciate your help.

the usb c port appears to be faulty, possibly causing a short circuit due to excessive heat generation when linked to the pc
🙁
the remaining components seem fine
