Hello, earlier tonight I removed my CPU fan to apply thermal paste, then reinstalled it and turned the fan back on. Now I’m seeing error lights from the motherboard.
I’ve re-seated the RAM, inspected the CPU (no damage or dirt found), and everything seems fine with the fan.
What should I do next?

If you're using a different board, the idea remains the same.
You didn't mention the make and model of your PSU or its age. Did you notice any static when removing the cooler? Was the system unplugged from the wall during that process?
