Hi,
About a year ago I purchased a thrustmaster ferrari 458 Italia steering wheel at a reasonable price and used it for roughly half a year. Now I wanted to use it again, but as soon as I connected the steering wheel to the USB port, one of my monitors went black. When I pressed the windows button on my keyboard, the monitor responded and functioned properly. The windows menu appeared on the non-working screen, and after removing it, the monitor turned black once more. Whenever I tried to operate the second monitor—which was working—I would freeze for three seconds, flash with black, and then finish the task. As soon as I unplugged the steering wheel, I had to restart the computer, after which everything worked normally again.

I also attempted to update the steering wheel drivers, remove and reinstall it, and swap the main monitor with the secondary one. However, swapping them caused the other monitor to stop working and the black one to become functional. I updated Windows too, but it didn’t help.

I inspected every cable and confirmed they were all fine. When connecting the Dualsense controller, everything worked correctly, indicating the problem lies with the steering wheel itself. I searched various forums and websites for similar issues, but no solutions were found.

Restart the installation of the chipset driver for the motherboard
Inspect the USB ports on the motherboard and ensure they are functioning with USB 2.0

I attempted that and it continues to perform the same action.
