While enjoying Rainbow Six Siege, I observed a significant drop in my frame rate, now fluctuating between 85 and 95 frames per second. Previously, I consistently achieved 144 fps even with vertical synchronization enabled. Disabling V sync did not improve the situation at all. I conducted a performance test using minimal settings, and still experienced 90 to 100 fps. My system consists of an Intel Core i5-9600k running at its default speed and an RTX 2060 graphics card with overclocking. Interestingly, within the game's menu, my GPU usage is consistently at 99 percent, while my CPU utilization remains relatively low at 34 percent.

Using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove your graphics card drivers and then installing the newest ones from Nvidia’s support website is recommended. Also, verify that your motherboard's BIOS is the most recent version and determine what version of Windows 10 you are currently utilizing.
