I took a break for about ten days and kept my computer unplugged for safety. Back home, I checked for driver updates on the GeForce Experience GPU and Windows, applied both, and that’s when things started to change. After restarting, my monitor would connect and disconnect. When I opened an app or window, it would suddenly turn off and back on. Only during full-screen gaming did it behave normally. After finishing a game, quitting the full screen mode caused it to reconnect and disconnect again. I tried various cables and reset the PC, but nothing worked. Now I’m using a completely new system, and as long as I open a browser or another app, it still flickers before launching games. I’m unsure if the issue is hardware or software and am really frustrated—I can’t work or play until it stabilizes. Please help.

A fresh setup complicates things since you can't revert system updates to determine if it was a Windows or graphics driver update. Fortunately, it might just be a graphics driver issue—you could try an older version and see if stability improves. I recommend using one of the 531 builds or a version from when you last thought you updated, then proceed gradually. Also, ensure the driver settings include a clean install. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx

Thanks a lot! It really helps. After testing all options, I realized the issue is with Nvidia's GPU driver. Switching back to the older version stopped the flickering instantly. (Apologies, my English isn’t perfect—it’s not my native language.)
